The cousins Rocío and Aldana are facing their personal histories, which are shaped by violence and sexual abuse, together. A process that enables the young women to express their feelings and experiences at the theatre and most of all within their relationship. Primas is a touching portrait of two adolescents who want to be part of a generation that talks about rape to take back control of their own life story.
The experimental Documentary is following Luana Muniz, icon of the queer subculture and also known as Queen of Lapa, around the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro. Obscuro Barroco introduces its viewers to a world of colours, shapes and humans, where change and transition are being celebrated. Pepe has been released from a psychiatric hospital. His need to fit into a senseless world becomes a desperate enterprise. Antonio, a tetraplegic writer, fights for the right to access his own body and for the sexuality of people with functional diversity. The friendship between Antonio and Pepe questions the way we see life and invites us to recognize ourselves as anomalies.
Fierza Lake, high mountains on both of its sides and a small boat breaking the silence of this small part of the world. Some movements can be seen. From a distance, boat gazes people descending from top of the mountains and patiently waiting the only transport connecting them with the rest of the world, almost unknown to them.

For two years, the Belgian filmmaker accompanied the team into the overcrowded operating rooms: affected by shortages of staff, pressure and impossible working hours. While the management wants to become more profitable, the employees are fighting for their own health.
